Meeting the partner of your dreams is becoming more and more of a challenge. The busy lifestyles of many of today’s professionals often leave little time for socializing. Millions of singles are hiring someone to help them find love.<\/p>\n

Twin Cities \u0093Miss Match,\u0094 Andrea Johnson is the owner and matchmaker of the Matchmaking Connection. She is one of only a few true Minnesota Matchmakers and she is the only Minnesota Matchmaker who is a Member of the National Board of Certified Matchmakers.<\/p>\n

\u0093I am really excited to connect with other reputable matchmakers throughout the United States,\u00c2\u0094 said Johnson, \u00c2\u0093All who are dedicated to setting and upholding professional and ethical standards for the matchmaking industry. We want to bring matchmaking out of the closet and into respectability. We are in the planning stages of starting a National Matchmaking Convention to be held in New York City later this year.<\/p>\n

As a certified board member of the Matchmaking Institute, Johnson is able to network with Matchmakers throughout the US. \u0093I have developed a great relationship with Bonnie the Matchmaker, out of Phoenix, AZ. Now many of my snow birding clients have a matchmaker in Arizona as well as Minnesota!<\/p>\n

Johnson offers a more personalized approach to matchmaking because she interviews and matches every client herself. Johnson says. \u00c2\u0093We can save our members time and money by weeding out singles that don\u00c2\u0092t fit their criteria and because I only accept members I know I can match I have a very high success rate.<\/p>\n

Johnson conducts extensive personal interviews with each member, covering areas such as family, education, job, religion, hobbies, and a wide range of likes and dislikes. And Johnson, not a computer, will decide whether two members could be compatible.<\/p>\n

\u0093More and more people are joining every day,\u0094 Johnson says. \u00c2\u0093The Matchmaking Connection is proof that you don\u00c2\u0092t have to pay thousands for a quality matchmaker with a personal touch.<\/p>\n

In less than two years The Matchmaking Connection has been featured on the Pat Miles Show (three times), WCCO Channel 4 with Pat Miles, KARE 11 Today, B96\u00c2\u0092s Scrappy in the Morning Show, KCCO’s Live “Strictly Business” with Rita Maloney, ThisWeek newspaper, and The City Pages.<\/p>\n
